Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 GMC CANYON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SITTING PARKED WITH THE ENGINE SHUT OFF WHEN IT ERUPTED INTO FLAMES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE AND ADVISED THE FIRE ORIGINATED FROM UNDER THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT EXAMINED FOR THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE UNKNOWN.
