Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F-150. WHILE TRAVELING AT SPEEDS OF 55 MPH, THE HOOD SUDDENLY FLEW OPEN WITHOUT WARNING OR WARRANT. THE CONTACT FURTHER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT THE HOOD SPRINGS HAD FRACTURED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED BY THE DEALER AND THERE WERE NO PRIOR WARNINGS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 158,000.
