Consumer Description

LEFT (DRIVER'S SIDE) SLIDING DOOR ON HONDA ODYSSEY WILL NOT CLOSE OR LOCK. HAD TO DRIVE TO THE DEALER WITH THE DOOR CONSTANTLY OPENING AND MY CHILDREN INSIDE THE CAR. MY FRIEND SAT ON THE BACK SEAT TO TRY TO KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED. I DO THINK THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE THIS HAPPENED OUT OF THE BLUE WITHOUT ANY WARNING AT ALL. THE DEALER SAID THAT "HONDA DOES NOT SEE IT AS A SAFETY ISSUE". I SEE THE DOOR PROPERTY CLOSING AS A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE IT IS A FAMILY CAR WITH CHILDREN INVOLVED. I SEE IT AS A SAFETY ISSUE JUST LIKE I SEE SEAT BELTS AS A SAFETY ISSUE. I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PROBLEM, IT IS UNSAFE. *TR
