Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. WITHIN A FEW HOURS, SHE WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE WITHOUT DIFFICULTY. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE BURNED OIL EXCESSIVELY. THE CONTACT CONFIRMED THAT SHE THE OIL WAS CHANGED AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK. THE DEALER WAS CALLED AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RELATED RECALLS FOR HER VIN. THE CONTACT HAD NOT TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR TO BE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
