Consumer Description

MY 2005 FORD TAURUS ACCELERATES ON ITS OWN EVERY SO OFTEN. WHEN IT ACCELERATES, I TRY TO BRAKE, BUT THE CAR VIBRATES VERY BADLY AND DOES NOT WANT TO SLOW DOWN. WHEN I DO GET IT SLOWED DOWN ENOUGH, I PULL INTO A PARKING LOT. I PUT IT IN PARK AND THE RPM'S JUMP TO 4 OR OVER. I FLOOR THE GAS A COUPLE TIMES. THIS SEEMS TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, BUT IT KEEPS HAPPENING EVERY COUPLE MONTHS FOR ABOUT THE LAST YEAR. *TR
