TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN ION. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 50MPH HE NOTICED A CHIME NOISE COMING FROM THE DASHBOARD, MOMENTS LATER THE VEHICLE NO LONGER HAD POWER STEERING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT HAD THE STEERING COLUMN REPLACED. THERE WERE NO PRIOR WARNINGS AND THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 71000.
