Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE VALVE STEMS ARE INSTALLED ON A SET OF SUMOTOMO TIRES. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE WENT FLAT DUE TO A FAULTY VALVE STEM. HE CONTACTED THE DEALER IN REFERENCE TO THE FAILURE, AND WAS ADVISED THAT THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF A VALVE STEM RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000. THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS UNAVAILABLE.
