Consumer Description
2005 FORD F150 5.4L ENGINE TWICE THE FAIL SAFE CAME ON WHILE MY WIFE DRIVING AND THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN. ONCE IN OCTOBER,2009( ON THE INTERSTATE, SPEED 65) AND 11/19/09. THIS COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT SHE WAS ABLE TO GET OFF THE ROAD. AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES, ENGINE STARTED OK. WITH NO CHECK ENGINE ON FORD DEALER REPLACED THROTTLE BODY AND MOTOR; REPROGRAMMED PCM AT A COST OF $510.00. *TR
