Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN MAXIMA. THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD LOCK WITH THE IGNITION KNOB IN THE OFF POSITION, BUT THE VEHICLE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT BE IN THE PARK POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES. HIS VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS EXCLUDED FROM RECALL # 06V402000 (STEERING:COLUMN LOCKING:ANTI-THEFT DEVICE), THEREFORE HE WAS INELIGIBLE FOR A FREE REMEDY. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60000.
