Consumer Description
MY 2001 IMPALA WITH A 3.8 V-6 WOULD NOT START AFTER GOLF LAST THURSDAY, SO I HAD IT TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP. THE SHOP PUT IN A NEW FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER, SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES. THE BILL CAME TO $900. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM VARIOUS OCCASIONS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS AND DECIDED TO LOOK ON THE INTERNET. THIS SITE POPPED UP WHEN I "SEARCHED STALLS WHILE DRIVING" BECAUSE THE CAR STARTED STALLING OCCASIONALLY WHILE DRIVING UNDER JUST ABOUT ANY CONDITION. I BOUGHT A NEW CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR FROM CAR QUEST INSTALLED IT MYSELF IN LESS THAN AN HOUR AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW. THANKS FOR THE INFO. *TR
