Consumer Description
1. CAN BARELY SEE OUT OF INSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR IN THE DAYTIME. PARTICULARLY HAZARDOUS IF CARS FOLLOWING DO NOT HAVE THEIR HEADLIGHTS ON. VOLVO SAYS THEY CANNOT LIGHTEN/CORRECT THE AUTO DIMMING MIRROR. 2. BLIS SYSTEM IS NOT RELIABLE FOR CARS IN BLIND SPOT AND SHOULD BE IGNORED. HOWEVER, IT CANNOT BE TURNED OFF. RESPONSE FROM VOLVO: HI , THANK YOU FOR CONTACTING VOLVO CARS OF NORTH AMERICA. THE AUTO-DIM REARVIEW MIRROR IS UNABLE TO BE LIGHTENED FOR DAYTIME USE. THERE IS NO PERMANENT SHUT-OFF FOR THE BLIS FUNCTION IN YOUR VEHICLE. OF COURSE, IT CAN BE SHUT OFF DURING USE, BUT MUST BE DONE MANUALLY EACH TIME THE VEHICLE IS STARTED.
