Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ELEMENT. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING. THE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE DEPLOYMENT. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY NEVER HEARD OF AIR BAGS DEPLOYING WITHOUT AN IMPACT OCCURRING AND WOULD NOT ASSUME LIABILITY. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 26,000.
