Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HIS VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED AT HIS RESIDENCE FOR THREE DAYS WHEN IT CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE ORIGINATED UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS ATTACHED TO A BOAT, WHICH WAS ALSO DAMAGED IN THE FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND FILED A REPORT. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO CALL THE FORD MANUFACTURER. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
