Consumer Description

I PURCHASED MY BRAND NEW 2009 HONDA CIVIC EX LESS THAN 4 MONTHS AGO. FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTHS THE CAR SEEMED TO BE RUNNING FINE THEN UNEXPECTEDLY THE BATTERY STARTED TO RANDOMLY DIE. THIS HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN 2 DAYS WHICH PROMPTED ME TO BRING THE CAR BACK TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP FOR A SERVICE CHECK UP. THEY RAN A DIAGNOSIS ON THE BATTERY AND ON THE CHARGING SYSTEM. EVERYTHING SEEMED TO CHECK OUT OK SO FOR A TEMPORARY FIX THEY GAVE ME A NEW BATTERY. LESS THAN A MONTH LATER THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN, THE BATTERY RANDOMLY DIED. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE BATTERY SINCE THIS HAD ALREADY HAPPENED ONCE. ONCE AGAIN THEY RAN A BATTERY AND CHARGING TEST, WHICH TESTED OUT FINE. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT HE THOUGHT IT WAS HAPPENING BECAUSE I DO NOT DRIVE MY CAR ENOUGH. THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE SINCE THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. *TR
