Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 BUICK RENDEZVOUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR HATCH ON THE VEHICLE DOES NOT LOCK. THE INDICATOR DOES NOT SHOW THAT THE HATCH IS OPEN. SHE FEELS THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE REAR HATCH CAN OPEN AT ANY TIME AND ENDANGER THE LIVES OF THE THIRD ROW PASSENGERS. THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT ASSIST. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
