Consumer Description

I HAVE A 2006 HUMMER H3 WITH A LITTLE OVER 15,000 MILES ON IT. THERE IS AN ISSUE OF "BAD CYLINDER HEADS" IN THESE 3.5L I5 ENGINES AND GM HAS NOT STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE FOR A RECALL. ANOTHER CYLINDER HEAD HAS BEEN ORDERED FOR MY VEHICLE AND WILL BE FIXED UNDER WARRANTY. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY WARRANTY RUNS OUT A YEAR FROM NOW. I AM NOT CRAZY ABOUT A DEALER TEARING DOWN MY ENGINE AT THIS POINT. IT HAS NOT BEEN BROKEN IN YET. I THINK THE WHOLE ENGINE SHOULD BE REPLACED. I FEEL GM KNEW OF THIS ALL ALONG AND BUILT THESE SUV'S ANYWAY WITH THE HOPES THAT THE MOTORS WILL LAST UNTIL THE WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. *TR
