TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 HONDA CRV. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE TIRE DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE STRUCK ANOTHER VEHICLE AS A RESULT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO HIS RESIDENCE WHERE HE NOTICED THAT A SPRING ROD FAILED AND CAUSED THE TIRE TO FOLD. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 100,000.
