Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING THE WEATHER STRIPPING COMPONENT ON THE WINDOWS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT SHE LATER DISCOVERED THAT THE WEATHER STRIPPING WAS RUSTING ON ALL FOUR WINDOWS AND DOORS. THE DEALER COULD NOT ASSIST BECAUSE THE RECALL REPAIR WAS PREVIOUSLY PERFORMED AND COULD NOT BE MADE UNDER WARRANTY. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,000. UPDATED 02-23-09 *BF UPDATED 02/24/09. *JB
