Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 ACURA MDX. WHEN PLACING HER CHILD IN THE THIRD ROW SEAT, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THERE WAS NO SETTING FOR THE MIDDLE HEADREST FOR SMALL KIDS. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR YOUNG KIDS BECAUSE THE HEADREST ONLY HAD TWO POSITIONS. IF THE CHILD IS NOT THE CORRECT HEIGHT, HE OR SHE WOULD BE UNABLE TO UTILIZE THE HEADREST. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL AND TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 74,000.
