Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. IN RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE CONTACT NOTICED A LARGE PUDDLE OF WATER ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR. THE FAILURE OCCURS IN ANY TYPE OF CONDITION THAT INVOLVES MOISTURE. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT WATER WAS ENTERING THE VEHICLE THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. WITHOUT REPAIR, WATER COULD SEEP INTO THE HEATER, BURN OUT THE MOTOR, AND CAUSE MOLD TO FORM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION OR REPAIR. THE CONTACT IS IN THE PROCESS OF NOTIFYING THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
