Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HYUNDAI VERACRUZ. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO START THE VEHICLE AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR AN IDENTICAL FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AGAIN. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP THAT WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED OF THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 4,000.
