Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HYUNDAI TUCSON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR SEAT BELT THAT EXTENDS FROM THE CEILING AND SECURES THE PASSENGER IN THE MIDDLE IS A SAFETY HAZARD. TO RELEASE THE SEAT BELT, HE HAS TO USE HIS CAR KEYS TO SLIT THE HOOK. IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, AN OCCUPANT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE IN TIME. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY SHOWED HIM HOW TO UNLOCK THE SEAT BELT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,500.
