Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT RECEIVED BUICK RECALL NOTICE NUMBER 07035 OR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V118000 REGARDING THE GASKET ON HIS VEHICLE. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPAIRED THE FIRST GASKET. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SECOND GASKET IS EXPERIENCING THE SAME FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE DEALER DOES NOT WANT TO MAKE THE REPAIR. HE CALLED GM TO FILE A COMPLAINT AND THEY REFERRED HIM TO NHTSA. CURRENTLY, THE GASKET IS LEAKING AND DRIPPING DOWN ONTO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
