Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK, IT SURGED IN REVERSE WHILE THE CONTACT WAS RETRIEVING ITEMS FROM THE TRUNK. HE HAD TO JUMP OUT OF THE WAY OF THE VEHICLE. HIS SPOUSE HAD TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER AND THEY DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AS A DEFECTIVE CABLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 8,000.
