Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 NISSAN SENTRA. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 50-70 MPH, THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE WOULD IMMEDIATELY RESTART AND THEN SHUT OFF FIVE OR TEN MINUTES LATER. THE FIRST FAILURE OCCURRED ON MAY 30, 2008 AND HAS CONTINUED EVERY TIME THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY WITH THE DEALER. NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V455000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) WAS REFERENCED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 132,000.
