I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE BRITAX REGENT WAS CRASH TESTED WITH THE TETHER. I AM HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT THE TETHER IN MOST CARS ONLY HOLDS 40 LBS.
