Consumer Description

IN COLD DRY WEATHER THE IGNITION SYSTEM SHORTS CAUSING THE HORN LIGHTS AND CHIMES TO ACTIVATE. THE DEALER HAS WITNESSED THIS THREE TIMES, BUT SAID THAT CHRYSLER HAS NO HISTORY OF THIS HAPPENING AND HAS NO FIX FOR THE PROBLEM. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES, SEVERAL INHOUSE FIXES WERE TRIED, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM CHRYSLER CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM IS AN ACT OF NATURE AND CHRYSLER IN NOT RESPONSIBLE, BUT HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE STATEMENT IN WRITING. THE PROBLEM STARTED ABOUT 3 WEEKS AFTER I GOT THE TRUCK IN JANUARY 2006. *TR
