Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL LETTER NUMBER 05S28 IN AUGUST OF 2007. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHEN THE PART WOULD BE AVAILABLE, BUT INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WOULD SEND A POST CARD ONCE IT ARRIVED. SHE STATED THAT SHE PURCHASED HER VEHICLE TO USE THE CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE AND THE WAIT FOR THE REPAIR HAS EXCEEDED A REASONABLE LENGTH OF TIME. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
