Consumer Description

1. HEAVILY RAINING ON AN HOUR TRIP FROM HOME. 2. BLOWER MOTOR FOR HEATER STOPPED WORKING MAKING IT UNABLE TO SEE ROAD, TRAFFIC, ETC AND MAKING IT FREEZING IN CAR. WAS ALMOST IN ACCIDENT SINCE UNABLE TO SEE. 3. CONTACTED FORD MOTOR CO TO CHECK RECALLS. UNABLE TO LOCATE HOWEVER IF YOU GOOGLE THE PROBLEM IT APPEARS THAT THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE MAKING OF THIS VEHICLE RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE BLOWER MOTOR AND SENSOR. FORD IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND HAS A FIX FOR IT HOWEVER YOU MUST PAY FOR THE ENTIRE COST. PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN TSB 04-15-3.
