Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 35-50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND RELEASED BEFORE THE FAILURE OCCURRED. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AGAIN, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE FOR 15 SECONDS. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS. THE DEALER WOULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,000.
