Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP COMMANDER. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE POWER STEERING AND BRAKES FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE LASTS FOR ONLY FIVE SECONDS. THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURRED WHILE TRAVELING 20 MPH THROUGH A RED LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP UNTIL IT TURNED ITSELF BACK ON. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWICE, BUT THEY COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALER BEING SERVICED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 32,000.
