TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE CONTACT LOST STEERING ABILITY AND THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DIMMED. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED TO REGAIN POWER AND STEERING ABILITY. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE VIN AND ENGINE SIZE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 29,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000.
