Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE CONTACT REAR ENDED THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF HER, WHICH CAUSED A MINOR PILE UP. THE PASSENGER'S HEAD WENT THROUGH THE REAR GLASS. BOTH THE CONTACT AND PASSENGER WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR SEATS WERE DEFECTIVE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT PROTECT THE OCCUPANT'S HEADS. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 79,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
