Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 20 AND 70 MPH, THE ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED SIMULTANEOUSLY ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FAILURE HAS BEEN OCCURRING ONLY IN WARM WEATHER. THE INDICATORS REMAINED ILLUMINATED UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE OPERATING NORMALLY. ON ONE OCCASION, THE CONTACT SMELLED AN UNRECOGNIZABLE ODOR. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 81,209 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,650.
