Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED INTO FIFTH GEAR. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER LOCKS TOO EARLY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 13,000. UPDATED 01-15-08. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS AN AGGRESSIVE VIBRATION BETWEEN THE SPEEDS OF 40-50 MPH. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM, BUT DID ACKNOWLEDGED THERE WAS A VIBRATION.
