TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD RANGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELTS WOULD UNLATCH INTERMITTENTLY. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 01V227001 (SEAT BELTS:FRONT:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY). HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR BECAUSE THE RECALL WAS CLOSED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 147,170.
