Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE HEARS A TICKING NOISE UNDER THE HOOD, WHICH SHE BELIEVES IS ORIGINATING FROM THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER TWICE FOR THE NOISE. THE NOISE IS PRESENT WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AND THE ENGINE HAS WARMED UP. WHILE IDLING, THE NOISE IS AUDIBLE AS WELL. THE FAILURE HAS BEEN OCCURRING EVER SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 52,300 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,835. UPDATED 09/18/07. *JB
