Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE CAN REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN DRIVE. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE ROLLED OFF AN EMBANKMENT AND STRUCK A TREE. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END AND SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CURRENTLY HAS AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED WITH THE DEALER. SHE IS UNSURE IF RECALL # 05V025000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH) APPLIES TO HER VIN. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 111,000.
