TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD NOISE. THE LIFTGATE FAILED ON THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE LIFTGATE, BUT COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 1,300 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,030.
