Consumer Description
MY 2001 FORD EXPEDITION BLOW A SPARK PLUG OUT OF THE ENGINE HEAD. RESEARCH INDICATES THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH FORD ALUMINUM HEAD ENGINES. FORD WILL NOT PROVIDE THE CONSUMER WITH A PROGRAM TO HELP WITH THE COST TO REPAIR THIS OBVIOUS DESIGN DEFECT. THEY HAVE A REDESIGNED HEAD THAT WILL REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE HEAD FOR $3,500. FORD TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP THIS ENGINEERING DEFECT HAS CAUSED THOUSANDS OF FORD OWNERS. *JB
