Consumer Description

TL*- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE MAGNUM WITH 3500 MILES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE CONTACT EXPLAINED THAT WHEN SOMEONE WAS SITTING IN THE PASSENGERS SEAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR OFTEN INDICATED THAT THE AIRBAG WAS OFF, EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON THAT WAS SITTING IN THE SEAT MET THE REQUIRED WEIGHT FOR THE AIR BAG TO BE ON. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM WITH THE SENSOR, AND TOLD THE CONTACT THAT IT WAS WORKING AS DESIGNED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 3500. *AK UPDATED 03/06/07. *JB
