Consumer Description
2001 OLDS ALERO FUEL SENDER GAUGE SHOWS 1/2 TANK WHEN IT'S ACTUALLY EMPTY. WHEN FILLED IT GOES TO EMPTY FOR DAYS THEN JUMPS BACK UP TO FULL AND STAYS THERE FOR SOME 200 MILES BEFORE MOVING DOWN. READ SOMEWHERE GM WAS HAVING PROBLEM WITH FUEL GAUGES BUT WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR REPAIR? CAR STALLED IN TRAFFIC WHILE MY SON'S WOMAN WAS PREGNANT WITH MY GRANDCHILD. *JB
