THE 2 BRAIDED STEEL HOOD SUPPORT STRAPS EXHIBIT PREMATURE CORROSION WITHIN THE RUBBER COVERS CAUSING PREMATURE FAILURE WHICH MAY CAUSE AN INJURY DURING THE UNEXPECTED FAILURE WHEN THE HOOD IS OPENED BY USER. THE RUBBER COVERS HIDE THE CORROSION PROBLEM UNTIL FAILURE OCCURS. *NM
