Consumer Description

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH AND PULLING A TRAILER, THE STEERING MECHANISM DETACHED. THE VEHICLE VEERED OUT OF CONTROL AND STRUCK A WALL. THE ACCIDENT WAS REPORTED TO THE POLICE. THERE WAS NO WARNING PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, AND THE CONTACT WAS INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE, BUT WAS ABLE TO REPAIR THE STEERING MECHANISM.
