DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN 04V129000 REGARDING THE TAILGATE CABLE. THIS VEHICLE HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS AS INDICATED IN THE RECALL, BUT IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO THE MODEL OF THE VEHICLE. *AK UPDATED 1/25/2006. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER WHO CLAIMED THAT THE TAILGATE CABLE IN HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONES THAT WERE RECALLED. *NM
