Consumer Description

DT: CONTACT STATES THE RETRACTOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AUTOMATIC DOOR WILL NOT ALLOW THE DOOR CLOSE IF THERE IS SOMETHING BLOCKING THE DOOR FROM SHUTTING. THE DESIGN IS SUPPOSE TO ALLOW THE DOOR TO RETRACT IF THERE IS SOMETHING BLOCKING THE DOOR FROM SHUTTING. THE CONSUMERS DAUGHTER HAND WAS CLOSED IN THE DOOR AND THE DOOR COMPLETELY SHUT. THE CONSUMER HIT THE BUTTON TO OPEN THE DOOR, AND IT DID OPEN THIS WAY. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN TO A SERVICE DEALER. THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE DOOR HANDLE OF THIS PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. THE CONSUMER DOES NOT HAVE THE RECALL NUMBER OR CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER. *AK *JB
