SEVERE SHAKING WAS OCCURRING WHEN BRAKING. VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE WHEELS NEEDED TO BE BALANCED. SITUATION KEPT OCCURRING. IT WAS FINALLY DISCOVERED (FIGURED OUT) THAT THE TIE ROD WAS WORN AT 43,000 MILES. VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO DRIVEN ON HIGHWAY. LEFT OUTER TIE ROD WAS WORN OUT. *NM
