Consumer Description

ON JAN 29,2005 WE WERE PREPARING TO LOAD GROCERIES INTO THE BED OF THE TRUCK. WE OPENED THE TAILGATE AND BOTH OF THE SUPPORT CABLES SNAPPED CAUSING THE TAILGATE TO FALL ONTO THE BUMPER. WE HAVEN'T MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR REPAIR YET AS I WAS CHECKING TO SEE IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY TYPE OF RECALL. I HAD KNOWN OF THE RECALL FOR THE SILVERADO AND THOUGHT THE S-10 MAY BE INCLUDED.*AK
