COMPLAINT RECEIVED VIA E-MAIL. WHILE RIDING ABOUT 60 MPH ON I-10, SLIDELL, LOUISIANA. FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE TIRE SUDDENLY BLEW. OUT. RIP WAS IN SIDEWALL, ABOUT 2 3/4 INCHES LONG (TEARDROP SHAPE), BOTTOM OF TEARDROP AT LEAST 1/2 INCH FROM TREAD. OTHER END OF RIPPED ENDS IN SIDEWALL BETWEEN M&S AND P215. HAD OIL CHANGED, AND TIRES CHECKED AT ROYAL HONDA, METAIRIE, LA, BEFORE THIS TRIP. PLIES TREAD: 2 POLYESTER + 2 STEEL. SIDEWALL-2 POLYESTER. MADE IN JAPAN. *AK
