Consumer Description

RECALL 03V527000 CONCERNING STEERING GEAR BEARING FAILURE. CONSUMER EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS WITH EXERTING MORE EFFORT WHEN MAKING TURNS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO REPLACED THE RACK AND PINION AND THE POWER STEERING PUMP. *AK THE CONSUMER HAD TO REPLACE TWO FRONT TIRES DUE TO EXCESSIVE WEAR AND HAD TO GET A FRONT END WHEEL ALIGNMENT WHICH WAS A RESULT OF A DEFECTIVE RACK. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED REIMBURSEMENT. *SC THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. *JB
